Arrival & The Blue Lagoon

In April 2013, Tina and I set out for a week-long trip to Iceland.

Our adventure began—after a quick bite at the airport that included the delicious Icelandic yogurt, Skyr—with a visit to the otherworldly Blue Lagoon before arriving at our hotel just on the outskirts of Reykjavik’s city center.

Into the Wilds

Outside the city proper, Iceland is an amazing place. While Tina & I don’t typically fancy ourselves “outdoorsy” types, in Iceland we found ourselves climbing behind waterfalls, walking on glaciers, and watching geysers erupt from just a few yards away.
